Hello from Macon

Hey Stephen,

4 years gone already.

I felt you every step of the way today. I heard your voice in my ear several times as Carol and I wandered through Macon. I'm glad you were there to share it with us.

The train was a nice touch!

Otis sends his respect.

Never Gonna Be The Same

Hey Stephen,

Just trying to get through this day without you, it's not easy. Been looking for someone to play guitar with me over here, but whoever I get, it's never gonna be the same.

You took a part of all of us when you left.

I hope you've found some kind of happiness.

Two Years

Hey Stephen,

Two years down, huh? In some ways it seems longer, in other ways it seems like only yesterday.

I'm sure everyone you knew will be thinking of you today, and I'm no different. You were the kind of guy who touched peoples lives without even realizing it.

I stil miss you, Buddy.

From Julia - your birthday

Stephen,

Althought I've missed writing you a little note on your birthday, we were still thinking of you.

Wherever you are, we raise our glass.

Miss you,
Julia

Happy Birthday

Hey Stephen,

I hope you still have a way of celebrating today, and that those angels still allow you to have a beer or two. I'll have one for you tonight.

I miss you.

From Julia

I had only just gotten to know Stephen, but in that brief time I was privileged to share his spirit, laughter, honor, and generous nature. He and his family are among the kindest that I know. Like David, I think of him often, and he is missed.

First Anniversary

They say there is a reason,
They say that time will heal,
But neither time or reason
Can change the way we feel.
No one knows the heartache,
That lies behind our smiles.
No one knows how many times
We've broken down and cried.
If our love could have saved you,
You would not have died.
If our tears could bring you back,
You would be right here by our side.

Only Yesterday

Hey Stephen,

A year already, huh? It seems like only yesterday we were jamming, recording and having a blast, with no thought of tomorrow.

You're never far from my thoughts and I know we're all still in yours.

Thanks for being there through the years, and for the music and the beers; a part of you may be gone, but our friendship still lives on.

If you see Mozart ask him if he has any good tunes you can pass on to me!

I miss you, Buddy.
